Hello and welcome to my simple website created during the summer of 2026.
I made it with hugo to develop more understanding on simple web technologies and experiment with hosting static site content. I previously worked on managing docker containers running wordpress instances, but I felt that wordpress, even though originally intended for small blogs like this one, has gathered too many moving parts making it too unwieldily to use.
My goal with the site is to:
- Better my writing
- Further my understanding of web hosting and the languages that make up websites
- Showcase my progress
I am not using any external tools other than the basic spell check on Kate while I am writing. I strongly disagree with using AI to pad your own personal blog, however that doesn’t mean I am completely against AI when used for other purposes.
